Surah Al-Qasas

Surah Al-Qasas (Arabic: القصص, "Stories") is the 28th sura of the Qur'an. Sura was revealed in Makkah after Surah An-Naml and consists of 88 verses. This Surah is named Al-Qasas sura for taking the word of verse 25 which means:

"Then one of the women's two brothers came to get it by walking in a state of blushing as she said: Actually my dad pick you up to reply to your mind our cattle watered. So when Moses came to get it and tell him stories of events that force (about himself ) said the old man to him: 'Thou shalt not hesitate, you have survived the people who do wrong it is.' "

Sura was revealed when the Muslims are still in a weak state when they were shackled cruelty of the idolaters of Mecca as a great power, luxurious and powerful. So, Allah revealed this surah as a comparison with the life history of Prophet Moses by Pharaoh's cruelty and the consequences of luxury Qarun and give promise of future victory of the Prophet Muhammad.

Summary Surah

Most major sura tells the story of Prophet Moses' life history of the events that occurred during his birth and shows the cruelty of Pharaoh and the help of Allah to the Children of Israel when Moses began to receive revelation.
