Surah Al-Balad

Surah Al-Balad (Arabic: البلد) is the 90th surah of the Qur'an. It belongs sura surah Makkiyah consisting of 20 paragraphs. Named "Al-Balad" which means the country is taken from words "Al-Balad" contained in the first verse of this surah. What is meant by the city in this paragraph is a city of Mecca.
