Surah Al-'An`am

Surah Al-An-'am (Arabic: سورة الأنعام‎, Sūratu al-An'ām, "The Cattle") is the sixth chapter of the Qur'an, with 165 verses. It is a Makkan surah. The surah reports the story of the prophet Abraham,[Qur'an 6:74–80] who using his own reason stopped worship of celestial bodies and turned towards Allah, so that he could have received revelation.
